Mind Mapping Our Work

This is the beginning of mapping what we've been working on and brainstorming since the fall! Thank you to the wonderful members, alliances, steering committee, and staff for all the love poured into critical conversations. This is not a full summary and expect it to change as we move forward with our strategic planning process.

Projects and Events

All of these have various roles w/ flexible capacities. Fill out the member form to let us know if you're interested in being involved in any degree with the projects below.
Catalyst
Follow link for more information. Lots of ways to be involved: Attend the event, join the planning/trainings team,  apply to cook, assist with various duties to help the team!

Mutual Aid Working Group
Currently working on a mutual aid request form for folks needing aid and resources. First We will be planning fundraising events (like a collaborative art event!) to continue the efforts of distributing direct monetary aid.

We're also working on amplifying individuals mutual aid donation links, creating long term solutions (like local grow rooms for free food), and mobilizing people to places in need of volunteers!
Annual Meeting
We will be setting out intentions, goals, principles, and plan for the year(s) to come! We need folks to attend and to help out with various roles before & during the event.

Affinity Groups
Creating feedback loops and groups for folks to work through how their identities, experiences, and conditioning interact with our work + each other.
Skill Share Events
We want to create spaces for folks in various areas across KY to share skills with each other, connect with each other, and grow our skills to take care of each other + ourselves.

KY Support Network
We want to create a shared space where folks can brainstorm, plan, and troubleshoot organizing work! From those who are thinking of being organizers to those who've been doing this work for awhile--we need spaces to foster these conversations and support each others work. ALUMNI'S WELCOME!
Communities of Care
Especially in more rural and remote places, people are feeling more disconnected from each other than ever. How can we help connect folks with similar values that live close together?

Radical Book Club
Theory informs action and action informs theory. A member-led space to dig into books/writing that keep us inspired, tapped into our revolutionary power, and brings new ideas to the table. What books have you been wanting to read?
